Frenchay Cricket Club branding
A badge that previously only existing in embroidered form needed updating for the 21st century. The solution had to be equally at home on the club's twitter feed as it did on the first team whites. Research into the origin of the badge led to the discovery of a lion in the original ironwork of the local pub. The redrawn badge is based on this reference. An early application of the new badge was on the coloured kit of the Frenchay girls teams which also feature the 'Fiery F' badge reflecting the team names Flames and Fire. Related to this work, I commissioned a local graffiti artist to spray an interpretation of the new badge on a wall at the ground. The new branding also appears in many other forms around the site including signage and of course, the club flag.
